D. Jeff Heggie
In 2005 D. Jeff Heggie left a career in the banking industry to start Kodiak Mountain Stone in a small shop in Leavitt AB. Jeff has always had a competitive, entrepreneurial spirit and loves the challenges of a startup. He’s loved watching the business and the team transform through the years to what Kodiak Mountain Stone is today. Jeff lives in Cardston AB with his beautiful wife, Tamara, and their four children. He spends a lot of his spare time supporting his children in the various activities they are involved in. He has been able to coach his children in basketball and football and loves to see them succeed in whatever they do. He enjoys working with the team at Kodiak Mountain Stone. Jeff loves that whether it’s our stone, brick or stucco, we are one of the final stages of a new home or a renovation. We get to be a part of the final touches and see the joy and excitement it brings to the owners as they see the final stages of an idea turn into a finished product. He likes to say that at Kodiak Mountain Stone, “We finish the dream!”

Terry joined Kodiak Mountain Stone in the fall of 2008. After taking 3 years off work and travelling with her husband (retirement trial), she decided to throw her hat back into the ring and landed with Kodiak. She brought with her 15 years of Business Manager experience in the health industry in northern Alberta. The majority of her time was working in a drug and alcohol treatment facility. Terry started in the Cardston office at the reception desk doing sales and accounting related tasks. With Kodiak’s quick growth, it wasn’t long before she moved into the Administration Manager position with expanding responsibilities in HR and Finance for both the Canada and US divisions. She has learned one thing about Kodiak – they are all about change, change for the better both inside and out. They promised that winter time was catch-up time and she soon found out that Kodiak doesn’t wait for winter. Terry moved to southern Alberta with her husband and travelled with him while he built turbines. Shhh, don’t tell, but she had a blast climbing up, up, up and standing outside on the top. She loved to travel and see more of Canada and USA, but always enjoyed coming back to the south. She especially enjoys living 15 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park. Since starting with Kodiak, her favorite thing on her daily commute is the gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains. Terry’s hobbies include reading, having sleepovers with her grandchildren and loves the internet so she can Skype her far away grandkids. She prefers to be outside rather than in and enjoys the quad rides in the mountains.
